I live and work on our family farm in Cumbria, where my studio has great views of nearby Dalton Crags. I enjoy hill walking and taking my sketchbook with me on my walks. The ever-changing weather and light across the fells and lakes provide constant inspiration for my paintings and I feel privileged to live in the most beautiful part of the country.   

I work with soft-bodied acrylic paints on both canvas and board, building up layers and using mark-making techniques to capture the repetition and rhythm of the pathways, becks, walls and ridges that take your eye through the landscape.
